Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision

The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.

The celebrated industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, according to.
